FAQ

School hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To ensure safety, minimize distractions, and maximize learning potential, all children must arrive no later than 9:15 a.m.
At what age will my child be able to enroll in the program?
The Little Explorers begins enrolling students at 5 months and continues until they are ready to begin Kindergarten.
How will Little Explorers communicate children’s progress?
For younger students, our daily reports are easily accessible on our Procare App. This app highlights your child’s daily activities.
What are the arrival and departure policies?
For security reasons and as per OCFS guidelines, only the parent or specified approved adult will be responsible for dropping off and picking up your child. Upon arrival, you must walk your child to their teacher and have them checked in. The teacher will conduct a visual health check. If, for any reason, the teacher feels your child is unwell, i.e., fever, rash, pink eye, etc., your child will be sent home unless they have a current doctor’s note confirming the child is not contagious. Suppose anyone other than the parent or previously approved person is picking up. In that case, the parent must notify the school in writing, and the “new guardian” must provide photo identification to the director.
